"I didn’t know how to rate the staff because there isn’t any staff. The business model involves remote access to the proprietors and having other things be self-service. This didn’t really bother me for the most part. The first day, I was able to reach out about a question and I got prompt responses. They even had the correct amount of linens and towels which is not something most hotels get right for a party of 6! Beds were super comfy. Water pressure wasn’t great but did the job. The listing did mention laundry facilities and when I asked the proprietors about it, they said they don’t have any. I was offered a discount, which I appreciated. It did take 1.5 days to get a response back once the discount was offered after several nudges. I’m happy to say the $20 discount was eventually applied."

"The concierge Karen was wonderful! She really made my trip so much better! She clearly cares that patrons of the hotel and guests to the Temiskaming Shores really experience the friendly and welcome environment and amenities the town has to offer! Lovely person!"

"Loved this place! Spacious and clean. Cottage came equipped with Everything you need! My only complaint was that you couldn't open windows because there were gaps in all screens and mosquitoes would get in. Would definitely recommend this cottage!"
