Easy check in, provided good food and taxi recommendations. 5 min walk from the beach, 20 mins walk to Brighton - lots of nice food and drink spots around. It’s a room in their house but feels very self contained as you don't have to walk through the house to access the room and access to tea and coffee in their kitchen was easy. "If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"The potting shed is definitely a hidden gem, its little but had everything we needed, it was spotless with a lovely garden for our dog to explore. The twin baths outside were a really nice way to unwind after a day sightseeing and there’s plenty of dog friendly restaurants locally. I would recommend the lazy fox for great service and lovely food."

"The accommodation was clean and welcoming. The welcome pack was a thoughtful extra with fresh milk, eggs and bread. Tea and coffee was also provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept really well. Patio table and chairs ideal for eating outside even though it was late September, a bonus. Grassed area accessible from the car park was great for letting the dog out. Easy 15 minutes drive into Hartfield to visit Winnie the Pooh sites & Ashdown Forest."
