"A beautiful, well-maintained old (17C) building, complemented by the warm welcome from co-owner Elvira. We didn't meet her husband, but he was clearly hard at work in the kitchen. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms comfortable. The rooms felt quite opulent, with large mirrors, stained glass, pretty décor, a well-stocked ensuite bathroom, and deep beds. We slept and ate well!"

"The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again. "

"Only stayed one night but overall a pleasant stay. Room was large with plenty of room. Bed extremely soft but had a relatively good nights sleep. Tea and coffee was plentiful. I woukd suggest some hooks in the shower room to hang clothing/ towels. There is no lift at the property. Food in the squadron bar was good. We had late lunch and breakfast. Drinks with breakfast were not included in the price which makes it a little expensive but overall it was good. My only critisism was that we opted...

"I stayed here the night before I ran an ultra marathon so was after a peaceful nights sleep. The hotel didn’t disappoint, very comfy bed with quiet country surroundings and very clean facilities. Only negative is lack of shops nearby."

"Close to hospital as needed to be near to very sick relative to reduce travel time from home. Beautiful building and garden area.
