"Small booking hiccup but very professionally dealt with. Great customer service. I loved the pods, good space, all of the features you will need for a comfortable stay. "Lovely stay breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it "

"We really enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Hotel, our standard room was of a very generous size, much bigger than a lot of hotels which was very pleasing. The Hotel throughout was spotlessly clean, and the food was excellent, the staff were very helpful, and the cost was very reasonable, there was always plenty of parking spaces in the car park, and we will definitely visits again, the Hotel exceeded our expectations."

"Spent one night at The George. The staff were very friendly, check in was very smooth. Very knowledgeable about car parking in the town. Our room was very comfortable, clean and tidy. We slept well. The bathroom was well appointed, the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good. My partner had a full English which he was very pleased with. I had poached eggs which were perfectly cooked. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

The property could do with updating carpets and generally our bedroom was ok - very good size and bed comfy though the bedroom needed a bit of dusting and bathroom skylight window did not shut.
