After that, the front desk staff changed and they seemed rather glum and refused to answer the phone in the late evenings. The rooftop bar was a nice addition to our stay. Rooms were clean and air conditioning was great. Its proximity to Central Park and the subways couldn’t be beat."

"LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION!!!!! I interacted with reception I believe 3 to 4 times and it was very robotic, except for only one experience. Being across from Central Park was a game changer and ultimate New York experience. I read reviews about the elevators and it’s true, for whatever reason they just seem to be very slow, especially in the mornings before 10 AM. We had the AC unit in the room at 68 or 70 and it just never got cold but we were never uncomfortable, but we weren’t as comfortable as we could’ve been. Overall, it was a 4.5 out of five stars."
