"Travelers should be aware that the hotel was undergoing renovations during my mid-October 2026 stay. Crews were completing minor punch-list work, including touch-up painting, which did not significantly affect my visit but may be inconvenient for families. The window covering the front room in my suite also did not work properly upon arrival, which could be an issue for guests using the pull-out sofa in a suite room. However, the staff repaired it promptly after I reported it the next morning. Overall, the renovations were well done, and the hotel offered a pleasant stay for its price range. I recommend requesting a room on the pool side of the hotel rather than the highway side, where passing trains may disturb light sleepers. Consider bringing earplugs; the front desk also provides them upon request, and they are helpful although I personally don't have issues with earplugs. Hope this helps others. God Bless you."
