Mardis Mill Falls- A popular summer swim hole...hard to photograph with swimmers and the rope swing. Easier in the spring when it’s still colder. Also watched a local beer drinking swimmer stand up and toss a glass bottle into the woods...so always wear shoes!

I have seen this barn a couple times from the I65 when I was driving from Birmingham to Huntsville. And I always thought that this would be a great photo motif. Today I got there eventually to take some shots. Fortunately it was a fantastic sunset as well.
