"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "A three night stay in Lodge 9 was really brilliant! It was secluded in a lovely woodland area. The lodge was very spacious with very impressive en-suite and bathroom. The swift local bus service at the main gates allowed us to visit Canterbury and Folkestone without the hassle of parking. The facilities for tennis, table tennis, snooker and putting ensured we were kept busy. The only slight disappointment was the pool was quite small and shallow."
