"Room was clean and breakfast was good. Rooms are very spacious, and decor is amazing. Staff is super helpful and friendly. But, hotel is very noisy. Make sure you don’t get room 15 unless you are deaf and/or sleep like a rock. It is directly over the party room and reception, and there is also an almost constant thumping in the walls all night (pipes?). Then, in the morning the music at reception will wake you up. (It was so loud that when we went down for breakfast, we had to yell to speak to...

"Wow factor! This was a one night stay but will always be remembered . Warm greeting from Lorraine and explanation of the hotel and local attractions. The particular room we had was excellent with great character and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a delicious selection of starters for breakfast followed by a home cooked Scottish breakfast. We will return in the future for sure. I would absolutely recommend this hotel"
