"The location was perfect. Easy walk to main street and the harbor walk was just across the street. Easy drive to the Hammond Castle. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small, but fine. The continental breakfast was very nice. John the owner was very attentive and kind. Thanks for the lovely stay."

"We had a lovely stay at the Shore Cottage. The place is very well maintained and has all the basics you could need for a short stay. I’d recommend for a couple or family with a small child unless primarily eating out, since there is only 2 stools in the kitchen. There is a small garden where we enjoyed grilling and eating outside when the weather was good as well. Note also that the listing mentions two twin beds in the living room and they are air mattresses not pull out sofas. The owner prepared the mattress and bedding, it was very comfortable for our child. Our kids especially loved Stage Fort Park and it was easy access from the rental."
"Our stay with Joan exceeded our expectations, from the proximity to the seaglass beach across the street, to the lovely easy walk along the water to the large state beach…the charming eclectic decor… enjoying Joan’s stories about her curated collections and whimsical finds..the lavish breakfasts & treats…it was a breath of fresh sea air combined with the best conversation & food & the treasure hunt for sea glass that made for an unforgettable weekend!
