"Nice beach, great staff"

"T treated my family to a short weekend stay at the Kay and it was lovely. The beach was beautiful and the bar alive with guest. The room was spacious enough to enjoy the beach weekend and had the basic essentials for our short stay. However, the old-empty water fountain & pool outside were eye sores, obstructing out view of the beach. But overall the beach was beautiful and for a short family stay the price was not too bad. "

"The owners were so friendly! Due to our flight being delayed a day we were compensated with an upgraded room. This property is beautiful! We enjoyed daily pool time and mornings on the balcony taking in the gorgeous views! It was the perfect spot to rest after days spent out and about exploring! Book this place! You won’t be disappointed!"

"Every single person on the staff was helpful and welcoming. This recently-renovated property is right on the ocean. Even though we visited past peak season (so it wasn't busy) we were treated so well by the staff. Food and drinks were top-notch. "We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. "It was a very pleasant stay. The area is easily accessible to the entire island. The view & breeze was great to just lay back and take in. Slept like a rock. Excellent for relaxing after a busy day. The host/management was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Internet was stable enough for video conferencing. Cell reception ok. You should rent at a minimum an AWD to move around the island.
