"We enjoyed our stay at Icelandic Apartments. The facilities were clean and the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The only issues we had were with the door and room code, as well as the code to the laundry area for towels. However, the host worked with us to solve the issues and the response was immediate. We would stay there again."

"Excellent room based on where you get it. First time was in Junior suite and would rate it the best and second time was in an older section, which was clean but the bathroom was okay. "

Everything is extra charge, if you need paper towels or fresh towels without musty smell. Cuatomer services rude and absent. Stay away."

"Everything was amazing. The breakfast, the rooms, the all day coffee, , cleanliness, games in the lobby….everything was perfect. The location was in Midtown not downtown, but it was a very easy bus ride anywhere you needed to go. Also many tour companies pick up right in front of the building."

"The kitchen, the laundry, the bathroom, the bed and the warm comforters were very much appreciated. The accommodations were clean, quiet and thoroughly enjoyable would recommend to anyone visiting Iceland."

"The host cancelled last minute. I sent a message via VRBO app 14 hours before just to touch base with him. He didn’t respond. When I called him to let him know we would be getting in late, he told me the house is not functional. He was apologetic. But left us high and dry. We searched all the hotels in Reykjavík and all were full due to the pride parade happening. I tried calling him back to help settle this with VRBO and he ghosted me. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. But sleeping at the airport left me a bit bitter. "
