"Excellent hotel and Viking restaurant. Staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was nice and had lots of variety. Dinner at the restaurant was enjoyable too. Bit of a trek from Reykjavik, but public transportation was easy and cheap. Pallett coffee shop near by was also worth noting. Very nice. NB: Cabs very expensive if you do an Aurora tour and no public transit (ends before midnight). "

"Hotel is very clean, modern and closed to the airport, the offer free shuttle services to the airport and only 25 minutes easy drive to city center Reykjavik. This hotel is a five star class. All you need is a car, I think here all are so espread out that it will be very hard to move around."

"The introductory email was confusing. The email stated our room number was the code to get into the building. But that wasn't true. The first number listed was the code to the apartment, not the building. The building code number was at the bottom of the email not stating what it was for. Also, the numbers did not have # after all the codes that needed a #. It was frustrating. The apartment was neat and clean. But I could not stay there for more than a day or so. There was no fan/ air movement....

"So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. "The layout of the apartment is one of its strengths. It is a studio, but a wall separates the kitchen/bath area from the bed area. Parking was convenient, as were grocery stores. It is a fair distance from downtown Reykjavik, and having a car means we didn't have to investigate public transportation availability. The trash bins in the entry way were a bit off-putting, and the lighting, especially in the bathroom, could have done with a few more lumens. But overall it was a welcoming space."

"The room was not cleaned, old towels were hanging, there was no linen in one of the beds. We booked for 10 people, but there were actually 8 seats. The staff was arrogant, no one helped.The location was close to the beach, 10 minutes walk, but the house was somewhere behind the warehouse."

"Everything was great about this property location. A Supermarket across the road, several cafes nearby and a next level Domino’s Pizza. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was waiting an additional 45 minutes after we arrived at 3.15pm (check in was 3pm) to be able to access the room, we were absolutely tired after travelling all night and touring during the day. "
