The best thing about this property is it's fantastic location. Touching distance to amazing North Pembrokeshire coastline including Strumble Head lighthouse, not to be missed at sunset. The large grassy garden was enjoyed by the children and inside the property was adequate for our needs.
The description is exact, the property was clean, the internet is lighting fast, there is a safe garden for children to play in.
It is a good value property that met our expectations. If we had paid the prices that some other owners wanted (often 3x the price) then we would probably expect firmer mattresses, a more modern shower or similar upgrades but it was exactly as we thought it would be and it served our purposes as a base for a family holiday very well.
Notes: The Dolphin Fish bar by Tesco is truly excellent (far better than than the well reviewed Something Cooking out of town) . The tapestry at the library is worth a look. The Co-op is much better than the Tesco express. Transport links are decent - St Davids and Folly Farm/ Tenby are easy to get to. The house is on top of a v steep and pedestrian unfriendly hill. There do seem to be buses quite frequently but I'd not fancy walking up that hill from the station with luggage = there is easily space for 2 cars on the driveway.
Vielen Dank.
Had a lovely time at this property, the hot weather helped! No problems except sometimes using the cooker tripped the electricity for the whole house, this seemed to be intermittent. Also with a family, a second loo, shower and dishwasher would always help. But we loved the house and garden and would recommend.
Nice old cottage. Old fashioned furnishings and decor but nice and clean with everything you should need: wifi, washing machine etc.. Thanks very much.
Had a lovely stay at Ivy House.
Comfortable and quiet with all amenities as described. Easy access to town or walking trails. It was perfect for our mid-week break. Kevin and Linda
We had a very nice time. Spacious apartment, peaceful location and within driving distance from the main attractions. My kid enjoyed her stay very much.
