"Handy spot close to the south airport, which is why we booked it for a late evening arrival with a toddler. It’s a large hotel and, as others have mentioned, a little dated in places, but the apartment rooms are spacious and comfortable. Being on the ground floor made it really easy to access the restaurant, where the buffet breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that an airport shuttle was advertised on Expedia, but when we contacted the hotel in advance to book this in, they said it...

"Relaxing and beautiful oceanfront views are what stand out at the Salmar. The hotel was refurbished recently and they did a fantastic job. Pleasant colors and appreciated details like bedding, panoramic sliders purified water machines, and robes to name a few. Staff was helpful and friendly 5 Stars Highly recommend !!"

"We were very impressed with the hotel and it's layout with each pool leading to the next down the slope to the plaza and buffet restaurant. It is well laid out and the 3 bars all had very helpful staff. We had all-inclusive full board and were surprised at the variety of food and which drinks were included in the package."
