"We were upgraded to a balcony room with a view of the city centre and main duomo, this room was quiet being at the other side of property not facing the main train station. Speaking of transportation, 3min walk when arriving by train and the tram is at your door. We walked the city easily from here. Room was good, bathroom small which is normal in Europe Great selection of breakfast options Staff were friendly and helpful"

"We chose Maxim Axial for the location, the hotel is literally right down the street from the Duomo, with endless shops, restaurants, and beautiful streets to wander just outside the door. Florence is a walking city and this location was perfect for exploring everything on foot. The hotel itself is a little dated, but it was well maintained, clean, and comfortable with nice bedding and very cold air-conditioning. One helpful note, the check-in desk and lobby are located on the third floor so there is not a traditional street facing lobby. However, there is signage directing you to the elevator and the third floor. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time in Florence and would stay again for the unbeatable location."

"Here is my honest feedback regarding our recent two-night stay at your property. While I believe the hotel has significant potential, our experience was unfortunately disappointing due to the current condition of the facilities. During our stay, we found the guest rooms to be poorly lit and the furnishings outdated. Specific issues included old carpets, visible stains on the ceiling, uncomfortable bedding, and aging bathroom fixtures. Overall, the accommodations did not meet a satisfactory standard. I also didn't appreciate an old school heavy room key. Furthermore, the couple traveling with us experienced a malfunctioning thermostat that left their room uncomfortably cold. Despite multiple requests for assistance at the front desk, the matter was not resolved until the second night, requiring them to sleep in bathrobes to remain warm. Additionally, we found the quality of the breakfast buffet to be mediocre and below our expectations. I hope you find this feedback constructive as you consider future property improvements."

"Fabulous hotel. Decor it beautiful. I used the gym which was small but sufficient and went to Angel rooftop for lunch which was gorgeous. Other than that I didn’t use any other amenities. I felt like the room could have been slightly cleaner. I noticed a lot of hairs on my floor after the room being cleaned but other than that everything else was fine. Fantastic location. I would stay here again."
