July Beach Trip

Our family, of 6, had a wonderful time staying in this condo. The owners were very helpful with details on the resort, area, and communications. Beach service for chairs have to be reserved every morning, but we reserved the location we wanted every day. Kids loved all of the pools!

Excellent condo!

We really enjoyed our stay! This Condo was perfect for our family of 3. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. Our kiddo loved the bunk beds! The ocean view and pool view was perfect! We were able to walk to many restaurants on the boardwalk, the pier, and activities! Anything else we wanted to do was just a short drive away! We loved that beach service was included! We will definitely be back!

I could get use to it

Very nice rooms. Wish we was on a higher floor with ocean view. The tile floor did mess with me! I understand there is not a lot you can do about that. Something is just out of square. A lot of things to do close by condo. We had a great time! Definitely recommend it!

Destin West Gulfside

I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in Destin West Gulf 215 last month. Check in/out was a breeze. Although it never seemed like a big deal to go over to the desk on the bayside, it really did make a difference being able to go directly to the condo. This was probably one of the cleanest condos we have stayed in compared to the ones managed by Destin West Vacations. I know it must be very hard to keep the floors clean with the sand, sunscreen, and regular turnover, but this was the first condo that didn't have sticky, slippery floors. Also, the sliding doors to the balcony opened with ease. Some are so poorly maintained that you practically throw out a shoulder trying to move them. We also appreciate the flexibility having a Sunday check out for the extra day. Suggestions: It would be nice if there were either extra towel racks or some hooks on the back of the bathroom doors for hanging robes, cover-ups, etc. It would also be nice if the owner would consider a curtain or door at the bunkroom entrance for some privacy.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo was gorgeous, and did not disappoint. It contained everything you'd need for the week...and plenty of just in case extras. The toiletry and starter cleaning items were a top notch touch. In our opinion it was on the best side of the resort (beach side!), and was nicely tucked away in some palm trees. The only negative we saw (and it was really a small one) was that the condo directly overlooks the hot tub. It's a popular spot in the evening, so your romantic nights on the patio involve a few more people and a little entertainment. :) We enjoyed Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. Between the huge pool, lazy river, splash pad, beach, and neighboring resort next door (The Island was accessible and was more of a party atmosphere with a DJ and swim up bar for those looking for that), we had plenty to do onsite. The resort could use some general updating (I'd give it 4 stars probably), but overall had everything we were looking for. Highly recommend asking some locals for family To Do's. We asked our Rockin Tacos server the first night and she mentioned a ton of things...movie on the beach, pirate band, luau...many of them free to do. We took a boat out and enjoyed Destin's Thursday night fireworks. Highly recommend this condo. The owner was fantasticly organized and super easy to work with. Enjoy your trip!

Cute place, great location

Pros: Decor was cute, very clean, spacious. Easy access to parking and elevators. Cons: Balcony is right at the hot tub which can be loud at times (mainly teens), need more hooks or space to put clothes for bunk bed area. Overall: Would stay again!
