"Great stay at Sofitel Warsaw Victoria. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location is excellent—close to Old Town and many attractions. The indoor swimming pool was nice and a great place to relax. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Warsaw!"

"The hotel is in the Scandi style making it minimalist, chique, warm and homely. The staff are friendly, speak excellent English and are very welcoming. Puro Hotel Stare Miastro is very clean but that is no surprise as all of Warsaw and the rest of Poland is immaculate. The hotel has 'Mund' restaurant on its ground floor and breakfast is offered a la carte (off the menu) with supplementary breads, spreads and pastries. The menu is varied and having it cooked for you adds a further layer of luxury or being pampered. After you make your booking you can check in online and this gives you access to harder pillows, free art fallery tickets, free tours and a host of other additions to your stay some for free and aome with an additional cost. This hotel, and the Puro series of hotels (it feels wrong to call them a chain as each is different and very boutique) are well worth the money and your time. My partner and I had a great stay that formed the foundation of an amazing trip."

"Room: Rooms are a nice design. Beds are comfortable but pillows are cheap and thin. Bathrooms have nice showers. Location: well-situated for transport and access to the sights. We stayed weekdays and it was fine but I think a weekend night could be very noisy. Why a 3* rating? I booked on Expedia, entering my children’s ages, and booked a room that said “Sleeps 3”. In the details it said there is no rollaway bed. I assumed (wrongly) that there would be a pull-out bed for the third person, but in fact the expectation is that three would sleep in the two twins pushed together! We check-in after midnight and the receptionist told me that it would sleep 3 with a young child in the bed with parents. But per their info on Expedia they treat children of any age as adults. They should update the booking system to make that room only bookable for two people, or two people and child under 5. Neither the hotel nor Expedia would do anything for us in this situation and we had to book another room to accommodate one of my teens. They even charged me 60 zloty when I requested a late checkout (which they did not charge to another guest) and staff were not warm at all throughout the stay so I feel there was zero attempt to make amends and rescue the situation. I’ve stated twice before at the Sheraton Grand where rooms are huge and staff are great. In this instance there were only disadvantages booking at a boutique hotel rather than the chain. "

"The breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Room was clean but the carpet is showing age. A few stains on side of bed. Not dirty just stained."

"We had a wonderful time. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with an amazing view! The staff was very helpful. From the porters, to reception to the restaurant staff. The hotel is well situated which added to the enjoyment of the city. Thank you and we hope we will be back some day. "

"Overall the hotel is well maintained and very clean. The staff are helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent and the breakfast was very good. I did notice some stains on the rug in the room and that bothered me a little. Personally, I think the carpet under the bed which is there for purely aesthetic reasons needs to be kept immaculately clean or not used at all. The safe in the room has an outlet built into it. I guess for some guests it is a way of charging devices while they are being protected. However, I had medication that had to be kept at room temperature and I put in the safe (habit) and I later discovered that the safe produces heat as a result of that outlet. Luckily I discovered this before my medication reached a temperature that would have spoiled it and I began to store it outside of the safe. But it’s just something to be mindful of if you have temperature sensitive items. I never informed the hotel. So it’s really not an issue they were aware of or could address. Overall it’s a great hotel in a great location. With an excellent breakfast. "
