"The room and facilities where quiet good however the carpet was stained badly and the room smelt of cigarettes, comfortable bed and was a quiet restfull night, had a shock in the morning when checking out. Was told i should have paid a carpark charge which when i checked in i asked if there was a charge and was told no just register my registration plate , which i did. Told i could possibly have £100 fine , the new receptionist said she would try to override this , however i might still get...

"Absolutely fantastic, the staff are really lovely and welcoming. The hotel and grounds are first class. Food in the restaurant and bar is very well presented and delicious. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. If you're ever in Horsley this hotel is definitely worth staying in. A short walk from the hotel is the towers, a stately hall with stunning surroundings. The rates for the room is excellent value for money.
