We stayed one night in a simple queen room. The room was very clean and appeared recently renovated. The pool was awesome. Snorkel equipment rental available and easy to get. We had a great time on the island.

We had a great Island room with a nice view over the ocean. Lots to do with snorkeling to view the spectacular coral reefs, a great hike to the island summit with extensive views and chilling out on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day visit.

What a great trip! Very unique place. Snorkeling was great hiking was great! Foxy‘s restaurant was reasonable and the food was good. Staff and management were excellent! Especially the maintenance men! Thank you so much for everything!

The accommodation is dated. The smaller rooms are dark and damp. AC wasn't working and room services were poor. The island itself is great, 2-3 nights are worthwhile with plenty of snorkeling, walks and relaxing to do.

This is the second year in a row my wife and I have been to Fitzroy Island for a winter getaway. We loved it last year and again this. The island is very relaxed, great snorkelling, Foxy’s bar great for food and drinks and the staff are ever so friendly. Well done Fitzroy we’ll see you again next year!!

This resort was an awesome place to stay for a week of relaxation and exploration of the surrounding reef and island. There was enough to do for a six day stay. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful (Sadie, Lucy & Ariel in particular). The resort is a bit run-down in places however and the limited food options at Foxy’s Bar get tired after a few days. But that’s a small price to pay for the beautiful surrounds and dinner at Zephyr’s was lovely. The only low spot was hearing about, and then also being subjected to, one staff member’s officious manner. It wasn’t necessary to speak to guests rudely and that doesn’t reflect well on the resort and all the good people who work there. I was told this was the general manager but it’s hard to believe a general manager would lead his staff in that manner…

The back rooms of the Resort were mouldy and musty and I could not sleep in the three They offered me so I had no choice but to upgrade to the front room which was open to the sea and was not musty. This cost me an extra 150 a night. And the initial suggestion was $195 extra per night when I finally got my room. It was 5 pm. I had arrived at the island at about 11 so had to keep my luggage in the luggage room for six hours the reception staff to put your risk in a large fridge but then you can’t access it until you get back when you get your room. It is good to see the turtle rehabilitation Centre informing people and educating guests and visitors by Marine biologists who seem to do everything from helping with indemnity form so the Resort is not liable if anyone gets stung by a stinger to renting out kayaks and goggles and snorkels for $30 a pop . The place is in quite a bit of disrepair you can see that it was once quite beautiful - the stone workers reminiscent of a resort that once had class but now tiles are cracked and fridges are rusty. It is saved by The view of the water and the Marine life is exquisite.
