"The Thames Head Inn is a great gem. It's about a 1 mile walk from the Kemble train station, I walked alongside the road since taxi service is scarce and had no problems. There aren't any other businesses nearby, so I ate dinner there as well (delicious) and paid for breakfast the next morning (also delicious). "Had a really lovely stay at the Queen's Arms for one night. Two of our party had dogs and the outside rooms were ideal with a safe area for feeding them and a nice sitting area for us. Footpath from the pub made walking them easy without the need to drive anywhere. The thing that stood out even more than the great food and very comfortable clean rooms was the very lovely staff and great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast too. We will return. "
