"The property was very central to everything. The courtyard in the front with the Famous Panda wall Artwork was fabulous to enjoy breakfast or drinks. The ocean view from the patio was beautiful, if your room faced the front this was your view. We had the room in the back with a larger sitting area on the first floor. Quieter on the back side. There was complimentary coffee and water 24hrs a day. We would definitely return and stay at Pousada Alfama again. "

The Editory Riverside Hotel, an Historic Hotel

"The most credit goes to the very friendly and attentive staff. We requested to be moved to a two separate beds room as I had mistakenly booked a room with a single bed. They made that happen the very next day! The valet parking was so convenient and they always brought the car around at the time I would request them to. They made eveything so easy, The hotel's location was fantastic. Walkable from so many spots we wanted to visit and was also right above a subway line. The building has so much character as it is a converted old train station with still the same charm. The only thing I would like to add as hopefully a constructive feedback is to have more shelf space in the shower area for toileteries. Overall I would totally recommend this hotel in a heartbeat,"

Without his assistance we wouldn’t have known the best places to visit during our stay. Highly impressed with the layout of the facility, the restaurants and the overall experience at Locke De Santa Joana. "

"This was such a gem of a hotel in Lisbon! We stayed for a couple of days and it was a great location to enjoy the city of Lisbon - it's really close to the main sights and to transport options whilst being ever so slightly elevated and therefore providing great views out to the western side of the city and the harbour. We asked ahead of time if we could stay in one of the tiled rooms and we really did love the design and the spaciousness of the room and balcony, which actually got a lot of use by us! Breakfast in the morning had jusg enough variety to keep you interested and nourish you for the day, and the coffee was lovely and strong. All of the staff at reception and the bar were friendly and helpful and it was clear they want you to have a good experience. Overall, a brilliant hotel which I would definitely return to when in Lisbon!"
