"first time to Exeter. My wife and I stayed for a week at the hotel Du Vin . Stunningly, beautiful hotel,. Fantastic location near the Cathedral. Unfortunately we were so busy, we did not have a chance to fully enjoy the pool and the spa. I would highly recommend the hotel.Particularly for those who are looking for a hotel that’s quiet at night. A special thank you to Will at the front desk. And Ben for making sure everything was great. Andy & Rhonda McVarish"

University of Exeter Holland Hall

"Great place to be at our sons graduation at Exeter Uni. It made life so much easier. Excellent support and because it was so hot our room was hotter than an oven. We asked and they managed to find a cooler flat for us. Thank you. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, plenty of fresh food. The only draw back is where the car parks are and where the accommodation is. 10 mins apart. So drop off your luggage and then park the car. Apart from that, really great."

Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel

"A very good team working here who are clearly understaffed. The room was not the best and looked tired. Socket shorted my charger, both the sink and shower plugholes were blocked, and the air-conditioning was broken on arrival (during a heatwave). The latter not their fault, they provided fans which helped. Lovely breakfast, pool and sauna were very nice and the reception administrator was very helpful after I reluctantly came down to complain about the aforementioned issues. Very understanding and I look forward to a better experience next month."
