"This was a last minute trip for my wife and I. We booked a night at Gordon Lodge very quickly the morning we left and were hoping we made a good choice. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with our pick. Very nice resort! Very clean cabin. We had dinner at the lodge that night and the food and atmosphere were great! The next morning we had breakfast there as well. What a fantastic breakfast! We'll be staying Gordon Lodge again the next time we come to Door County."
"We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan from our room's window. The Lake was close to the building so the sound of the waves could lull us to sleep. The windows opened to allow fresh air into the room.
The breakfast muffins and doughnuts tasted homemade.

"We had a most enjoyable stay at the Penisula-Parkview Resort. I would not call it a resort, though. It was more a motel. With that said, it is impeccibly clean and comfortable. It is still 5 stars."
"Lynne and the younger man that work the desk were extremely personable and accommodating. I worked a wedding for hair and makeup, my mom sharing the room with me would have had to wait 2 hours outside the original check out time, but they allowed me to extended my checkout time while working with Expedia to make sure my stay was as seamless as possible and did not make a fuss over the change!
Also left a clothing item in my room and they had it folded nicely waiting for me even after checkout....
