Somerset Inn and Suites is in a great location within Door County which allows for easy driving access to numerous points of interest, shopping, dining, etc. The staff is very accommodating and the suite that my wife and I stayed in was very roomy and cozy. Staff was amazing and the room was perfect for us since we brought our pup with us. Convenient for potty breaks. I liked the option of having a basket outside the door to replenish our towels and take out our garbage, was a nice option instead of doing housekeeping in the room. We only stayed two nights so it was perfect! We will definitely stay again at Somerset. We come to door county this time of year every year. We love door county!

All was well EXCEPT. The shower has no safety bars or other hand holds. Unsafe for seniors. No elevator! Seriously lacking for senior renters. It’s a shame since everything else is so good.

Facility was very accepting to Pet's and the staff were all incredibly nice. Rooms were fairly clean. The pool and hot tub were great. The only thing I was not happy about was the fact that I had two kids and a dog and I was placed on the second floor with no elevator. I guess next time I will have to request a first floor and not just assume I would have 1st floor.

I booked room for three people (baby included) and I got room on 2nd floor (inconvenient). The room had a musky smell and some parts of the wall had holes. Old carpeting. The "clean towels" had a funny smell as well. I wasn't particularly happy with the place.

Girls Trip to Door County!

Diane at the front desk took the time to give us great advise of what to do and where to eat during our visit. Her recommendations were spot on! Our room was good and the towel basket we received each day kept us stocked with all our needs. My only critique would be the safety of the building. No locks to keep people from entering the building and the lock on our sliding glass door (Room 102) didn't seem to work correctly. We just locked the screen door as our safety mechanism.

This place is awesome and the price was awesome. We had a queen bed in a separate room. The living area was great with a tv fireplace and small kitchen amenities including dishes. We loved the patio with tables and chairs. Pool and hot tub were great! There are grills available near the gas firepit. The reception area had snacks and drinks along with board games to check out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will back!
