"The outdoor fenced off area was fantastic for our dog to have a runaround. Also the evening meal we had in the pub was excellent quality and reasonably priced too, the breakfast was also very nice and plenty of it.
The staff were all very pleasant and easy to talk to.
Overall we had a lovely stay, and we would recommend to friends and family. "
"We stayed in room 3 and the decor is beautiful, the bed really comfortable , i would say medium /firm. Ensuite fully equipped with toiletries , towels etc. They have put in alot of care so that your needs are met. Cleanliness is excellent. I would stay again if i needed to stop over in darlington. There was no breakfast included, however there are lots of places close buy to get breakfast."
"Lovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didn’t use the pool, fitness centre or spa so can’t comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. We’ll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open."
"What a stunning location! The rooms and service are excellent and we had a great stay. The food was generous and tasty. I'd certainly recommend The Punch Bowl as an ideal location to explore Swaledale. "
"We stayed at The Foresters Arms in the king room for 3 nights. The service from check-in to check-out was very easy. The room itself was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff couldn’t do enough, they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Places to visit, walks etc. The food was amazing, portions were big and the service was excellent.
