"This was good value for money. Right in the center of Stamford, so very convenient. The room was clean, beds comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast selection was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel was limited but we got a space. Very satisfied, look forward to a return visit to try out the restaurant which was closed on this visit."

"What a fantastic hotel. Location was great, right in the middle of it all. Room was great with loads of room. The room Needs coat hangers and some draws for clothes as we had to live out of our bags. Up date the blinds, apart from this we would stay again. Breakfast room was great as well, just get cups that fit in the coffee machine. The staff assisted us straight away when asked. All done through WhatsApp. WiFi was brilliant"

"Nice place, good food, breakfast only from 08:30 so not brilliant for business travellers - I did get a breakfast box of pastries (though I'd ordered a bacon butty), which were OK and filled a hole! My dog was made very welcome, but had to be carried up the steps to the rooms only having little paws and not fancying the grated steps. From the polite and friendly staff, the beautiful surroundings, the room (number 14) which was huge and had a wonderful rain shower and complimentary sponge cakes (delicious!), as well as a fan to keep us cool in the unusually hot weather.
