"We've been in England for 16 days and stayed at 9 Hotels/BB's. Silverton Inn by far wins for the best bedding ever. We've stayed from budget to Castle Luxury. I never knew what I was missing. The room was large, exceptionally immaculate, decorated perfectly, (not dated) staff was extremely friendly. The Bar / Restaurant was really fun with locals and very good food and reasonably priced. Breakfast...Yum! If you're considering this location just say yes. You won't be disappointed. Did I mention what they called a walk in closet literally had an iron/board place to hang clothes, a huge counter, a sink and very large!!!"

"I absolutely LOVED my stay at Bickleigh Castle. Last week, management changed over to Peggy and her partner, but Peggy has been leasing garden space and making improvements for some time now. Based on recent reviews, I'll list everything they've worked on here. They've made stellar improvements to the garden and dining room. The continental breakfast was extremely fresh, the live plants in the dining room greatly improved the ambiance, the linens were crisp and clean, and service was warm and homely. The garden has tons of apple trees, vegetables (I spotted giant tomatoes), a pond with pretty fish, archways and seating, chickens (that they use the fresh eggs for during breakfast upon request), and warm lighting. Peggy also has bees down the road a bit and the honey is also used during breakfast (it's delicious!). In my room, the linens looked brand new, there were no bugs, and it was nicely stocked with shampoo/body wash, waters, tea, and biscuits. The TV did indeed work as well. I also want to give a huge shout out to Peggy for her hospitality. When she learned yesterday was my birthday, she surprised me with a personalized card and a chocolate treat at breakfast. She was also a pleasure to chat with during my entire stay, and really made me feel cared for during my first international trip. They need more business to be able to continue with improvements, so please book a tea and tour or a vacation here. They truly care about this place and deserve a chance."

"The Tiverton Hotel is located a short way in to the town off the A361, the North Devon Link Road and around a 10 minutes walk into the town centre so a good location. Plenty of parking. The room was a good size, clean, tidy and comfortable. I do feel the chair seat base cushions could do with a shampoo or was that just the wear on the material? The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Check in and out was quick and friendly. I would stay here again."

"It’s a lovely cottage which contains pretty much all you need. It’s very warm inside and there are lovely features. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, some biscuits and milk which was very thoughtful. Improvements would be that 3 people wanted a shower but the hot water ran out after 1.5 people. Also there were a few cobwebs around and it could do with a paint touch up here and there. Great value for money and we had a lovely stay."
