"Location to Fox Glacier. The young man who checked us in was a delightful. He gave us info about the area that we were unaware of. Room clean. Amenities were great. Views unbelievable!"

"Front desk staff were pleasant and as helpful as possible. Stayed at the 'Gecko' units. Difficult to find despite directions from staff and a map... Met another couple up there who were having issues finding their lodging as well. Bed had a couple of small frayed holes in the bottom sheet. Mini fridge was noisy. Restaurant was largely empty when I arrived just after opening time, (only one other couple present), hostess put me in a table that stared right down the entry hallway and I had to tell...

"I loved being able to walk out to the beach out my door. Everything was clean and comfortable. Heated towel racks and floor was a bonus. Reception was super nice!"

"Very nice place. Nothing to complain about. Coffee was good…and FREE!"

"The 2 bedroom family room was small and sparse but cozy. The heated beds were a plus and the lodge was easily walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, and the Fox Glacier HeliTours office. The office had games and puzzles to loan for rainy days. Room was clean and beds were comfy"

"Excellent"

"Lovely stay in the Rainforest motel. Andy is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We sadly, were only there for one night, as we were passing through on our way to Queenstown, however if we are lucky enough to return to NZ we would definitely stay here for a few nights. The property is comfortable, clean and the unit we had was updated and had a great new bathroom / wet room. The whole motel complex has such a relaxed feel about it and we have no doubt recommending it as a great place to...

"Nice studio unit. Great view. Really comfortable pillows"

"Great stay in the deluxe accommodation. Comfy beds and the hot tub was very relaxing. Note that the tvs aren’t smart tvs so you’re limited to local tv. We ate at monsoon both nights and the food was excellent"

"Clean, simple and warm with everything you need. We stayed in a double room which had an ensuite, small fridge and jug. The mattress was quite hard though."

"The hotel was nice with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms provided good heating and was a comfortable stay."

"Excellent facility, everything you need, great management. Highly recommend."

"Very helpfull staff, made us feel welcome and at home"

"Perfect location, spacious clean rooms and good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff."

"Hello we book for 2 days, we knew we were staying in a basic room but were never told that it was packed with children rugby players waking us up at 5 am bouncing balls continually. Let alone the toilets trashed. We had to use. Our duvet on our bed had had a dog sleep on it and definitely not washed, Top 10 (NO WAY) Very expensive for pitifully looked after"

"Staff friendly enough however when we went to ask some more information questions the office was closed, even though their office hours indicated they would be open! Room comfortable, warm & quiet. Handy to walk anywhere in town. A nice stay"

"The rooms are tidy and comfortable. Although the walls are quite thin so if you're a light sleeper bring some earplugs. It's really central, easy access to everything. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Overall a great, affordable option in FJ."

"Staff were great, just a typical enjoyable kiwi campsite."

"The rooms were clean and had everything. TV a bit dated but, no one is here to watch TV. Except us on a tuff day."
