"I liked the view and the idea of s'mores by campfire. Property is very outdated. Furniture from 70's and worn out. Pool needs to be updated and tikihut looks ready to fall down. Amenities not open late enough and separate from property. Service at the restaurant was awful. Waited 30 minutes to be seated and it was empty. Waited 30 minutes more for drinks. Food was good though."

"The room we received was dated and came with a musty smell. We booked to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The description when we booked was described as a luxury getaway but the room we received was far from that. Upon arrival the staff was pleasant and kind, and very welcoming. We were told they didnt have any resort rooms available, only cottage rooms. That wasn't super concerning, as I've never stayed there before. But during our check-in, she continued to say we'll be happy to try...

The backyard was absolutely incredible the river is less than a 100-foot walk from the cabin and was one of our favorite parts of the trip. "This is definitely one of the best stays when visiting Helen,GA and surrounding areas. It was so clean and comfortable with beautiful, relaxing creek views. The property has all the amenities of home. It was just a short drive to all the places we wanted to go in Helen. Unfortunately, it was still way too hot out to use the fire pit in the first week of September. We still enjoyed our stay."

"Great location - close to Hiawassee and Helen. Community is well kept and quiet. Pool access was not an issue and very clean. A small walk to the river. No easy access to swim or play in the river. The only negative that I would mention, there were a couple hairs on the bath towels."

Two suggestions: Place the number of the house at the edge of the driveway and possibly place the box for trash on some sort of stand since the latches locking it were hard to reach and open for a senior.
