"The room was fine apart from the shower which needed an updated shower rose as the water pressure was very weak. The hot springs were disappointing. The water wasn't hot and the middle pool looked stagnant. There wasn't a good selection of wines and the bar was basic. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food."

"The staff were very nice and helpful. This rating is based on getting what you pay for. In that context, the weeknight tariff was good value. It was clean and comfy. However, in line with other comments the property is well past its best in terms of condition. Somewhat rundown is apt. It suited us for an overnight late arrival/early departure but we would not stay longer. It is not too soundproof, Decor is old and gloomy. Curtains are ill fitting letting in light. WiFi was excellent. Room had...

"No issue with the property itself, they are renovating so good things to come I am sure. The only issue I had was the shower was not hot enough. It was a cold morning in Putaruru, and I really wanted a nice steaming hot shower, but sadly it just wasn't hot enough."

"I enjoyed staying here! It was comfortable and had everything I needed. I loved having a nice place to stay with my dog."

"Very good."

"Super comfy, home away from home, awesome hospitality, highly recommend. We'll be back for sure"

"Charming, peaceful location; excellent getaway from city life."

"Pet friendly, took my two small dogs. Very clean all over. Cosy and everything was provided to make the stay home from home."

"A lovely house with gorgeous views. Thank you for the welcome gift box a wonderful little extra. Would definitely recommend for groups and or families."

"We had a fabulous time in this Kiwi paradise. The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and provided unexpected special treats like a bottle of wine and Whitakers chocolate. "

"We ended up leaving. It stunk there was moldy food in top of oven. No smoke alarms. We were actually disgusted. Windows were dirty. We didnt want to make a scene so said we had to leave for family matters. Would not recommend this place infact no smoke alarms is a major health and safety breech. Never be back."

"The property was superb. All amenities excellent. Sitting in the hot tub on our last evening was great fun...sooo relaxing. All in all a great experience. Thank you"

"The buffet was not worth the money."

"Clean rooms, helpful staff, plenty of parking, amazing amenities. We enjoyed our stay. Would come back again when visiting Rotorua."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bit of a problem with the TV which would turn off from the remote but overall a nice stay."

"Loved the private outside hot tub, completely private . Plenty of water to fill it between uses. The room is spacious. The bathroom was modern and the shower impeccable with glass enclosure. We always bring the our own coffee machine but there were other options for coffee. It was close to all amenities and attractions. The staff was super accommodating. I did t use the stove but fridge was spacious for our needs."

"Very disappointing stay. Our room was not ready at 2:30 pm, and we received poor communication about when it would be available. Once checked in, the water was unavailable for around two hours. The room had a dirty/stained carpet, rusty bathroom fittings, and a loose tap that came off. We also couldn't contact reception as the phone went straight to voicemail. We had booked a city-view room but did not receive the room/view we had reserved. Parking was limited despite the additional cost, there...
