"The value for the money of this place was excellent. You have to pay a small fee for access to the Big Canoe amenities, but it was well worth it. Be aware, this is a cabin-like place in the woods. There are spiders, and lots of them. One or two may even get into your cabin or spin a web on your car. Just remember that you are in their home and you'll be okay. Wifi is spotty at best."

"The stay was fine. I did appreciate that the outdoor walkway/hall lights were left on at night. That felt safer, especially since allegedly someone called the office posing as my husband (I've been divorced for several years), and I had not gotten around to sharing my location with anyone, not even my family members. The owner/manager did call me before putting the call through, and the dispensed with it when I did not accept the call."

"It's an older hotel, but very well kept and always affordable! The washer and dryer work great and only cost $2.00 per machine! Anywhere else you're paying almost $4, just to start one cycle. The staff is very friendly and always helpful."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. First, the house is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out. We had our family together for my son’s graduation and it was perfect!!! Everything about the house and location was even better than expected.But the best part was the host! "The amenities for this property were great, and the grounds were beautiful, but the property itself wasn’t very clean. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets and there were bugs in the loft. Some of the lights didn’t work. There was no salt or pepper & we had to buy our own coffee and extra toilet paper etc. So if you’re going, bring everything you need.
