"We arrived at 10:00 pm and received an upgrade. That was good. However, the additional cost for a late checkout was 25 Euro, which we therefore did not take. The regular checkout was 11 pm - merely 13 hours later. I put the tag not to be disturbed, but the cleaner nevertheless knocked on the door at 10:40 or so. That was unpleasant and not correct."

"Great location, close to lots of restaurants and the canals. And steps away from the train station. Nice room. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. We arrived 50 minutes early for check in and they wanted to charge us 10 euro to get into the room. Overall the staff were polite but not very friendly. Maybe that is just a cultural thing with us being from Canada. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again"

"The location right in front of the station and the comfort of the hotel room were excellent. One disappointing aspect, however, was that I was unable to use the self-check-in process because the necessary code—which was supposed to be sent via email—never arrived."

"Very comfortable bed and air conditioning which was very nice for an unusually hot day. Nice breakfast."

"Was goed"

"I want to let other travelers know that you need a car if you are staying here. There is no other restaurant or shops or anything at all within a 2 mile ( at least ) proximity. It is NOT close to Leiden, where the shops and restaurants and tours occur. The restaurant here is only adequate. The staff was unhelpful and decidedly unfriendly. I would not book this hotel again."

"Excellent staff comfortable room only negative bathroom shower needs a handrail"

"The most charming hotel we have ever booked! Fabulous location on a pedestrian street & a canal, next to a windmill. Bridges on both sides. Fantastic breakfast with more food than we could eat. Walkable to lots of museums, shops, restaurants. We did not want to leave! 10 stars!"

"Leuk in de stad en prima ontbijt"

"Room was clean but shower head was broken. Since the hotel is located at busy corner, it was not quite at nights. The bathroom was very small and you should consider it if you are a big person."

"Die Lage ist sehr gut, ruhig, aber trotzdem ist man in wenigen Minuten im Ortskern. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, alles völlig unkompliziert. Für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt bestens geeignet."
