"Great place to stay"

"The property is basic yet priced as though it’s something special. They can’t do much about the building, but they could provide good food, which they do not. Overall, I think this property is a poor choice and able to maintain high occupancy because of the lack of choices in the area."

"When we came to check in at 3pm I was told it would be an hour and 30 mins until my room was ready. We were in town for a wedding and needed to get ready in our room. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and told me "you should be grateful I don't make you wait longer". I told her I'd be grateful if my room was ready when it was supposed to be. She then proceeded to threaten to cancel my reservation. We ended up getting a room 15 mins later, there was urine all over the toilet, the...

"It was your average hotel but staff was very nice. Overall clean and comfortable. It’s a bit different with their being 2 different hotels kind of on the same premise but we were eagle to find the pool and areas we needed Only thing we didn’t like was a maintenance person came to our room to add a thermostats. It seemed weird that it had to be done right then/that day when we were leaving the next day and easily could have waited. That is the only reason for the lower score."

"Everything was awesome. My first time staying with them."

"The room was clean, staff very friendly the breakfast lame in my opinion but my husband liked it. Pretty safe area so we left our bikes locked on the truck."

"Newly remodeled and now a lot nicer than before. Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast."

"The room was dirty and in disrepair. The chair was filthy with stains everywhere and a used plastic spoon stuck between the cushion and the arm. The shower head leaked, no hot water even when all the way to hot and left running, long dark hair stuck to mirror that would have been impossible to miss if someone cleaned the sink or mirror. There was a roach on the hand towel in the bathroom in the middle of the night. Breakfast was barely more than a roll and bananas and they were almost out of...

"Under remodeling. Long ways to go. Should be a great hotel when finished. Our room had been remodeled, it was great. Breakfast and Bar/restaurant are a work in progress. Great potential someday."

"Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Price was very acceptable for a safe, clean and excellent location."

"Cheapest place in town ... Can't say I'd recommend it though.."

"Pool is closed. Bummer"

"An absolutely amazing experience. You couldn’t ask for a more wonderful place to stay. Peaceful location, clean and well supplied home. Great communication from the owner. I would absolutely recommend booking this if you are anywhere in the area. We were actually visiting Rockford for family events and found this gem just 20 minutes away that several of our households stayed at. GREAT PLACE TO STAY."
