"The staff were all positive, friendly and helpful. A standout feature of the hotel. Choices of restaurants was good, but book the Inn. The hotel restaurant less busy but still great food and service. If you have the opportunity do book a sea view room, it just adds to the experience."

Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. "The ground floor room was very convenient for access with our dog. The whole place was always kept clean & tidy. Superb cooked breakfast every morning & the evening meals that we had were also excellent. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. The bar / pub area had a very good atmosphere, with locals drinking & eating there as well as motel guests. A two minute walk to a great beach. We will definitely return."

"Generally clean room but we did find a dog biscuit under the sink while we were there……and we didn’t have one with us. It was during a heat wave and had to sleep with the window open even though a fan was provided, this made it a little noisy at times. Good breakfast and all staff were friendly and in the main, helpful. Only received a “that’s not my job, see the bar staff” once on one of the evenings."

The Stsndsrd apartment with courtyard view location was perfect and the apartment was very clean with nice kitchenette and good sized bathroom however it was advertised as having a double and two single beds and when we arrived late afternoon discovered it only had one single bed and a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. "We chose this property for its location to the ferry terminal however due to the noisy plumbing and size of the room we felt it was over priced and uncomfortable. Definitely too small for a double room more like a box room. In fact a 4 hour drive in the early hours would have been preferable."
