"The Stable was ok with almost all that was expected; except we couldn't get live BBC TV. Clean & shops nearby, location fine. It Lacked atmosphere in that the host cottage on the property was empty and run down; the gardens overgrown; the plot untidy and un cared for . We were told of the unfortunate circumstances of the host in that his wife had died and he had a stroke and was in a care home ; some few days before arrival.
