2/10
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was unacceptable. The staff were not only rude and unprofessional, but clearly lacked basic training in hospitality and respect for guests. Most concerning was their complete disregard for ADA laws. When I brought up my child’s accessibility needs (service animal), I was met with confusion, dismissiveness, and even attitude—as if I were being difficult for expecting compliance with federal law. Staff questioned the legitimacy of my service animal, demanded unnecessary documentation, and made me feel unwelcome—all of which are clear violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Under federal law, individuals with disabilities are allowed to be accompanied by their service animals in all areas where the public is normally allowed to go. Staff are only permitted to ask two specific questions: (1) Is the animal required because of a disability? and (2) What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? Anything beyond this is not only inappropriate but unlawful. It’s unacceptable in 2025 for a hotel to be this unprepared and uninformed about disability rights. I would strongly advise against staying here if you value professionalism, respect, or accessibility.
