"The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff was exceptional had suggestions for whatever we had planned that day. It was our first time in Galveston and didn’t regret one thing. Overall we had a great time and definitely will be returning back again soon. Thanks to Ms. Dee who made our trip more enjoyable."

"We had an excellent stay here before our cruise! We got an ocean view room and it provided great ocean view. Our room had a ceiling fan over the bed and it helped us sleep so much better. Room and grounds were spotless. You do have to pay $15/day to park in their parking lot."

I would highly recommend the Doubletree. Do anyone wanting to stay on the seawall excellent location and friendly staff and great accommodations."

"Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was friendly."

We purchased an upgraded room w/ balcony - but you had to exit the room & cross a secured hallway to utilize this balcony. It's just kind of odd. But overall we enjoyed our stay. The pool area is very...

"Booked last minute. After I booked three minutes later, I went to the property and the staff was so helpful. She went out of the way to make sure that I was situated."

"The hotel room was very musty. Service was mediocre."
