"Rooms are worn out. I read somewhere they’ll renovate soon. Staff is friendly but they look bored, very off character for a Mexican resort. My main concern was food. Brkfst Buffett was terrible and restaurants were meh. Pool is amazing and it is so close to airport that it pains me not to go back, but I wouldn’t. "

"Several return travelers we met here had one word to describe it: consistent. The resort is consistently high-quality, the staff are friendly, the food delicious, and the rooms clean. Our experience was the same. Our family of 4 stayed comfortably in 1 room and enjoyed watching for whales from our ocean-view room. When we'd go to breakfast, Felipe knew our kids wanted his special chocolate milk with cinnamon. He also served at the cevicheria, which we ate at every single lunch because the menu was so good and the view of the water was mesmerizing. We set up for the day in the sand under the palm trees and relaxed while staff attended to us. The beach in front of the hotel has soft sand, and the water was clear and a beautiful blue-green. The waves were perfect for bodysurfing! We did not use the spa or gym, but we did get the Club access, which we highly recommend for adults. It gave access to a private rooftop deck bar with top-notch drinks, another rooftop pool and bar with the only hot tubs on the property, and a Mediterranean restaurant. What drew us here in the first place was its design; they've refreshed rooms and added features that make the place look and feel special. It is a smaller resort than ones we've been to in other locations, with one large pool. It had a small playset for little kids, and we saw a kids' club room. The only thing I wished for was that my teens had a hangout spot to meet friends. "

"We had a mountain view room on a higher floor which mean we couldn't hear any street traffic. The property is in a fantastic location next to several malls and movie theaters if you feel like going off the resort. The beach is in excellent condition and the pools are well maintained. Only thing that I found disappointing was the condition of the gym. Lots of the cardio equipment was in need of repair and there wasn't a lot of weights to chose from."

"Very central hotel located in the Mall. Clean and modern. Starbucks and food options nearby and nice pool area. Beach is a 2 block walk around the mall. The rooms lack any outdoor space so you have to go to the pool or the restaurant. Pool does not have bar service even though there is a bar it is not open. Over all good for a short stay but not a good longer term vacation hotel. "

"Brought my boyfriend for his 60th birthday. We had already visited the Westin in November last year and were very pleased. Boyfriend was also disappointed that the breakfast buffet was closed as well as the beach bar. We will give it one more chance in May and see if it’s any better when it turns into an all-inclusive property the staff were excellent very very nice room very very clean Lorena our housekeeper was excellent and very nice pool was clean. The property is beautiful."
