"We had our entire family up to celebrate our Mom's 80th birthday. The amenities were outstanding, and we enjoyed making meals in the updated kitchen. The grandkids had a blast playing the arcade games and watching movies in the theater room. We had plenty of space, and the home was very clean. The local towns were fun to walk around in, especially if you enjoy antiques. It was a fantastic stay from start to finish. I would highly recommend. "

"We had a great August stay with 12 people. 4 kids ranging from 3-12. The house was big and rooms were great. The downstairs games kept the kids busy! There was a lot to choose from. The dock and boats were great. We went fishing on the lake. We got the community pass and went to the pool and lake. Both were wonderful. The house had most of what we needed. 2 bbqs, pots, pans, bowls. Etc. my only suggestion would be to bring some pillows. There were enough, but only one per person. Also there weren’t face cloths or hand towels, so you may want to bring those as well. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. "

"My family of 11 (2 grandparents, our 2 kids with their spouses, and our 5 granddaughters ages 13-3) really loved our four day vacation here. The major positives are the Masthope membership with it's facilities, direct access to the lake, and the boats provided to use it, the games, the working A/C and hot water, and the responsiveness of the hosts. The facility itself shows it's age and usage. It had some minor inconveniences like a couple of bathroom fans that didn't work and a light that didn't work. It needs some TLC. But, the lake is beautiful and the house has a lot of space to relax.One note, horseback riding needs to be booked way in advance."
