"Breakfast was extremely limited -waffles, instant oatmeal, toast, bagels, milk, juice and coffee. No protein options minus peanut butter. At check-in they tell you they’ll put a $150 hold on a card but Expedia didn’t mention that. The room was cute and comfortable but the bedside lamps are touch sensitive and weren’t working well. The area also really is lacking in food options and there weren’t any food options inside the lodge either. "

"Nick and Shannon were great! Our girlies had the best time at their cabin, in the hot tub, and access to everything was easy. Definitely would recommend for a little getaway. "

"The room was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made for a positive experience overall. That said, this is an older hotel that could really benefit from renovations. It does seem like they are making some efforts, particularly with the flooring, which is appreciated. The pool itself was in good condition, but the hot tub appeared quite dirty. It may have been rust stains from the pipes above, but regardless, it didn’t give a clean impression. The entire pool area is in need of a full renovation. The fitness room looked nice at first glance, but unfortunately the treadmill was not functioning properly. It would turn on, but once a speed was selected, it could not be adjusted. This is a safety concern and should be repaired or replaced as soon as possible. With that said for an overnight stay it was very worth the price."

"Excellent home away from home. Clean. Bright. Many amenities with a stocked kitchen which is so helpful when you are traveling. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hot tub was great, clean and enjoyable. The host was very accomodating and responsive. The service and wifi are limited so plan for that. "

"Me and my fiancé just stayed here for 2 nights. The hot tub was amazing. It was a very peaceful place! The only thing we had was to maybe clean the fire pit out. Overall everything else was great! "

"We enjoyed our stay, however arriving to a cold hotub that took our entire 2 day stay to heat up (only got to 98) was upsetting. We were really excited to use the hotub specifically and it was a shame that we were only able to dip in an hour before our checkout time. The tv’s are also outdated, was a pain to figure them out. Other than that we had a nice time, the cabin was well kept. If the hotub really worked I would stay again."

"The cabin was lovely, but the deck/hot tub configuration has been changed since these photos were taken. The fire ring is also different and located on a gravel extension of the driveway. It was missing some of the niceties that we have come to expect from other cabins we have rented: robes, water bottles, snacks, and fire wood. Our biggest issue was that there was a power outage for most of our only full day there. We realize that this was out of the host's control, but when we alerted her to the situation, she did not offer any assistance. So we were stuck in a cold, dark cabin. We tried to use the wood burning stove, but there were no operating instructions, and the vents did not seem to be working, so the fire kept going out. If the power had not gone out, our experience would have been different, and we would have been mostly satisfied. Just don't expect any extras or assistance from the host while you are there."
