The Victoria Hotel & Source Spa
10/10 Excellent
"This was a return to a favourite hotel and it never disappoints with service, comfort, quality of dining and location."
The Royal Lion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"An older (18th C!) property, but extremely well preserved, maintained and modernized. A very pleasant experience."
The Dolphin
10/10 Excellent
"Well positioned and clean and comfortable"
The Bull Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely fantastic 4-night stay."
Masons Arms
8/10 Good
"Check in speedy & shown straight to room which although cosy was well equipped & very clean, staff all ready friendly & welcoming. Breakfast choice excellent. Although evening meal was well cooked & good plate size, we thought that the menu was fixed & rather limited, there were no specials offered. Would struggle to eat there for more than a couple of nights."
The Devoncourt Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel, so nice to have an indoor pool & outdoor pool"
The Kingswood Hotel
8/10 Good
"I had to ask staff how to turn ths shower on. There was no switch or button, and nothinh indicated on the shower itself. It turned out that an unlabelled part of the structure had to be pushed doen. It needs a label. Other than lack of a Duvet, everything else was fine."
Southern Cross Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"The property is a very old one and hence a bit quirky but that’s fine. My room for instance was small with the sink in the main bedroom whilst the loo and shower were in the en suite but that was fine as I was by myself. The owners had put such thought into meeting my every need which was greatly appreciated- in the bedroom I couldn’t have wanted for anything more. The house has a small parking area and beautiful gardens to sit out in. Breakfast is individually coked and catered for too. The only drawback I think is the stairs leading to the bedrooms are very steep with small foot treads, the bottom ones particularly are uneven in depth and slope. However they are heavily carpeted and there are rails. It’s a very old loved property."
