"Great choice!! You will love this vacation experience. The house was built with the same Italian workmanship you will find in Italy with solid walls and beautiful masonry. "Big Bed", and that's all I will tell about that subject 😎 The owner is friendly and helpful. We didn't get too much time to chat, but I'll make a point to do so when we go back. The photos are accurate, so check them out!! Pool, hot tub, all just for you. Don't wait too long😎"

"We travel to Sarasota very frequently, at least twice a year and usually go with another company on the Island. We had to stay closer to town for a wedding and we were a little nervous. But the house on line looked nice and was reasonably priced for both the location and size of the home.When we pulled up it was in an old Florida neighborhood and was cute, but when we opened the front door we were totally blown away! From the front door to the backyard with the pool/hot tub and fire pit. Foliage that belongs at Walt Disney World Epcot or on a tropical island. The kitchen was massive and 2 powder/half baths downstairs. The upstairs was equally as well thought out. It was difficult to tell where the master suite was as all of the bedrooms were en suite and the views were spectacular, overlooking the pool from the terrace/balcony that wrapped around the house.There was attention to detail in each and every room. The only negative thing I would have to say is that seven days with family was not enough!!!!! The whole family lives in Sarasota but we came from North Carolina and wanted them all to stay in the same luxury we had for seven days. This is our usual pattern and we all agreed that this was by for the most spectacular property we had stayed in for over 10 years!!!THIS is our new vacation rental company for the foreseeable future. Oh and the host is an absolute dream to work with, she does the owner proud for sure."

"Upon arrival it was just as pictured. Walked in to a super friendly staff. Nice sitting and eating area, pet bar was so cute. Smelled clean and inviting. The air freshener might have been new because it was too strong and overwhelming for my senses. The halls were very long and bare. Lacked decor. Entered our room/suite, super nice. Comfort level 10/10. The amenities are great for family on budget being able to cook our own meals in our room. Ceiling fan was great. Hot water for a great shower. On to the pool area; little putting golf course and plenty of seating near the grills for our use if needed. Pool water was refreshing. Sad the hot tub was out of order. Breakfast buffet consisted of 4 hot trays, scrambled eggs, potatoes and 2 meats for tacos. (Never thought tacos for breakfast) Wish they had bacon. Cereal, oatmeal toast, bagels, make your own yummy waffles, fruit, yogurt and muffins plus coffee, tea and juice. All in all or stay was great and will definitely choose Homewood again for our next adventure to Sarasota."
