Excellect Motel with good restaurant

This is a lovely motel with a good restaurant in a small outback town. It is out of town a little near the tourist information centre. I used the free laundry facilities. We are looking forward to returning to the same motel in a few days while continuing our trip.

The Gidgee Inn came exactly as advertised; clean, comfortable, and well provisioned with a king sized bed (which was very comfortable). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this motel to others travelling to Cloncurry.

Lovely big rooms with great hot water (not those fancy water saver heads). Air-con & ceiling fans. Great TV reception. Only disappointment is kitchen isn’t open on Sundays.

A uniquely constructed regional motel. Rooms were large and clean. Adequately furnished for relaxing and business. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious and good water supply. In room fridge, parking outside room. Restaraunt had large, tasty portions of high quality food. Management and staff could not do enough for me and were lovely to deal with over my 3 night stay.

Pool was refreshing and clean, although some tiles need replacing which re safety should be done soon. Outdoor area outside our room was great and very welcome, overlooking the lawn and trees. Loved the trees and plantings.Reception staff very professional, well informed, welcoming. Room size very good. Aircon on when we arrived and the fridge working well. Bed and bath linen so clean. Just what we needed after a long trip.
