We stayed here 4 nights. Location is excellent. Surprisingly, it was pretty quiet #201) considering the cross streets. Bed was comfortable. & Housekeeping was good. I would stay here again.
Great location. It is structurally a roadside motel, but it’s located in a really fun area. They updated the interiors for professional business travel. Would stay there again.
First time visiting Chicago. Cool retro motel walkable to a lot of Chicago things (Bean, shopping). Neighborhood is a little noisy at night but the price was right, the property clean and comfy, and the staff welcoming and helpful. Extra points for the comfy bed and the little deli next door (perfect for breakfast).
The room, bed, pillows, and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable. The location was good. I would stay there again.
What an incredible room and location! We only stayed one night but wish we could've stayed more! The staff was very friendly and nice, the views from our room were spectacular, and they even comped us breakfast at the bagel shop. The location is great- walking distance to all attractions. The manager was very kind. The room was cool with huge windows on each side (we had king suite). Definitely recommend.
Great location. Good value. Because it’s a ground level motel in downtown it is VERY loud. Street noises and sirens and such. Just be prepared if you are a light sleeper
Delightful stay! Tidy and updated room, helpful front desk, fantastic location. I traveled with a lot of things in my car, and I appreciated being able to park in a secure environment.
Charming, clean and well located, but very loud, beyond the fact it is downtown on a busy corner. You can hear fellow guests, at all hours, clearly through the thin walls/doors. Bring ear plugs if a light sleeper. Parking is available, but at a premium cost.
It fit are needs perfectly. We were in town for the Marathon and the hotel location left us with a ring side seat from various vantage points. The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable (king) and the linen was soft and smelled fresh. It was a bit noisy, but I surmise the added people and activities around the race may have been a factor? Sunday night was much quieter, Overall, great place to stay.
Glad we stayed at Ohio House during our Chicago baseball tour. Convenient to public transportation; parking available; room comfortable and clean; friendly staff and a nice connection with the adjacent deli. If you’re looking for extra fancy, stay in another place. But we’re glad that we reserved Ohio House for our visit to River North Chicago.
