"We loved the historic aspects of the hotel. It takes up an entire city block and is packed with so much history celebrating nearly 100 years in business. However that comes with the downside of lower ceilings, older rooms, etc. the room was small but very clean and reasonable, I just prefer something more spacious than a bed 3ft from the bathroom. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and had a ton of amenities and was walkable to all of Chicago’s touristy spots which was a plus. Nina told us a bunch of fun fact and offered us water (please take it… it’s $9 a bottle at the store downstairs). Would definitely tell friends and family to stay here."

"Property location is walkable to Grant Park. The hotel is in need of an upgrade but if you can get past that it is very clean and safe. Our room faced the front and even though on the 12th floor you could hear the train all night long. The curtain in the room did not completely cover the window so there was a shaft of light coming in all night. Hotels were sold out and there was no other place in our budget to check in to; and restaurants were packed. There was a major trade show in town."
