Safe, quiet, and comfortable

I stayed here to break up a trip from the east coast to northern Wisconsin. Room was tidy, staff was friendly (I think it is family-owned), and area was quiet and safe. Stayed there at the beginning of my 2 week trip and again at the end. As a single female, I felt very safe and comfortable here.

The room was clean, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was subpar. Milk for cereal was slightly soured, and sausages weren't fully heated. Glad there are some fruits and yogurt.

It met my needs, the bed was comfortable, I like the soft pillows and the free breakfast. The hotel is a bit dated, poor lighting in the bathroom and they could have done a better job cleaning ie wiping down surfaces and cleaning hair from the corners of the bathroom.

My daughter and I were staying for a family wedding. The first room was dirty but the front staff changed us to a different room with no problems. Breakfast was good. The only problem we really had was the water in the shower. It was extremely TOO HOT! Like burn your skin too hot. We both tried turning it down and adding more cold water, but it did not change.

The property itself isnt in the best shape, but the rate for this hotel seems very reasonable when considering the area it is in. The staff are very friendly and they have a great complimentary breakfast, especially by today's post-covid standards. A great value stay in my opinion!
