"I would highly recommend you have a SIM with a number because if you get there late the door is locked and the check in person is not at the desk most of the day. You have to call for them or you will randomly meet them. The room is nice and very spacious but do not bank on the WIFI, it is very slow and spread thin on a old router that has bad range. It is a "It works" setup. The room had small ants mostly in the restroom area. The shower is very unreliable if you were hoping to take a hot shower and there is no curtain so the water will be going everywhere. Leaky handheld shower head with weak to okay pressure. No fixed shower head so all you have is the handheld. The AC works amazingly and keeps it nice and cool. The desk in the room is made of particle board and had alot of swelling and bubbling but its a decent size. I would recommend it to solo travelers and it is okay for couples. The cleaners will clean your room everyday but if you are in your room and they know they will not knock. They just need to make cardstock Door knob hangers for if you want privacy or for cleaning. Consistent issue across all of SEA is that hotels/hostels, and condos have almost no sound dampening material/insulation in the walls, poor sealing jobs, and single pane windows. That is the reason why you can hear everything and it speaks volumes about the owner/builder. Why I rate it so high is because alot of that stuff does not bother me and I found it to be better than a hotel."

"Great stay at the residence hotel Bangkok! Only stayed here for 1 night but very lovely helpful staff, decent priced Japanese restaurant in the hotel, cheap to book a grab from airport to hotel as shuttle does not drop you off directly at airport, rooms were very clean, modern and big! Beds comfy. AC worked great. Close to 7eleven! Would recommend for sure!!"
