"Underground car park was a welcome bonus. Use sat nav to find it though. not the hotels fault that there is a long one way system in kendal. put it in sat nav before you leave the motorway to get the best route. Debs on reception was great. bar food was excellent (evening meal and breakfast). I was on a business trip but will definitely go back with the better half when visiting Kendal."

"The staffs are helpful! When we asked for a clean towel, they gave us instantaneously. The next evening, a staff member knocked on the door and offered us fresh towels. 5/5 for the staffs."

"We had a lovely family room - Ideal for the 4 of us. Parents had a 2 person room in the old building. My advice is to request a room in the new building if you prefer to avoid stairs - We were not aware of all the stairs and my parents found it difficult. This wouldn't stop us staying again - we would just request a ground floor room. Food was good. Parking was good. Most of the staff were excellent. Was in an excellent location for our needs."

"Room was spotless and spacious. Large group in at breakfast time but staff coped very well. No towels in Spa so had to get some from room. Parking is overpriced considering room costs, only negative for us. Have been a few times now, and will return."
