I left a bad review at first but it was for a misunderstanding about pet deposit and hotel staff was very understanding and refunded the pet fee I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again

This was our first time staying in a Microtel. We basically just needed a place to sleep for a visit to our daughter at UIUC. Despite the distance from campus, we would have no hesitation staying here again. No frills, but clean, quick service, and plenty of lighting and plugs for a quiet recharge after driving. We didn't even need to use the mini fridge or TV or shelf-bed(?) but it was nice to have available. And the price was great!

Was very skeptical when we booked but all other hotels were booked or triple the money we wanted to spend. When we arrived we were surprised with how the hotel was. Everything was clean. But beware breakfast is very limited.

This was just okay. The rooms felt damp - and carpet seemed old and a little concerning…. Bed was comfortable - bathrooms were okay. The locking entrance where you had to check in through a small window was a little off putting and not very welcoming.
